What am I going to do?

Alex and Chloe seem to be having sleeping issues lately and I don't know what to do with them! From the time they were babies they have always slept in their own beds through the night until about a month ago. They now wander to wherever Chris and I are at. When we are downstairs watching TV after they have gone to bed we will find them sleeping on the stairs when do go up to bed. Their favorite thing to do is to bring their blankets in and make a bed on my side of the bed. I wake up half a dozen times a night and take them back to their beds, talk with them during the day about how they need to sleep in their beds ALL night, but nothing is working. What am I supposed to do with these kids?!

Happy Birthday Chloe

From the beginning I have always wanted a little girl. And on May 24, 2004 that wish came true! Chloe is my little princess! Her life revolves around her baby and I think that it is okay with me because that is exactly the way I was when I was little. She is pretty bossy at times, like me, but is the cutest little mama ever!! She always wants to take care of anybody younger than her. She is a great big sister and a great helper to me. She has already endured so much in her little life that I know she will be able to accomplish anything she puts her mind to.
Happy Birthday sweet girl! I love you!

I know I am a little behind, but I haven't been feeling 100% lately and the days seemed to have vanished before my eyes. I know Mother's Day has already come and gone, and it is a little late to tell everybody Happy Mother's Day, but I wanted to share my day or weekend.

As soon as the boys got home from the Father-Son camp out Chris announced it was my day and that we were going to go to Balboa Pizza, my favorite. We went to lunch and it was great, just like always. I then began to feel bad for myself because I knew Chris hadn't gotten me anything. I know he means well and I even felt bad feeling sorry for myself, but this is the man that used to surprise me ALL the time. He used to leave flowers for me, gifts on my bed, even a new car shortly before we were married. So, he spoiled me and now it is kind of hard not to expect it. So to lift my spirits he offered to take me shopping! I had so much fun! He picked some outfits out for me and came in the dressing room to tell me how I looked and what was even more awesome was that they all fit!! We then went to dinner together and ended our day watching the kids swim at my mom's house.

Sunday was great too! I wasn't feeling too good, so he got up and got the kids ready for church. We only stayed for sacrament and then he let me have an extra long, much needed nap. When I woke up Chris and my Dad made us a very yummy dinner with too many good choices. And again we watched our little fishes swim.

I know my Mother's Daywasn't great because of the new clothes or all the yummy food, but rather the way my sweet husband made me feel. He is a great man and I thank my Heavenly Father that he blessed me with him.
And not only do I have an awesome husband, but the best mom ever! Words will never be able to express how much I love her and what she means to me. I only hope that I will be able to be half the woman she is! I just wanted to say too that I don't give my mother-in-law the credit she desserves, but she raised one great guy and for that I am grateful!
Happy late Mother's Day EVERYONE! I look up to you more than you know!!

As many of you know, my mom's pool is finally finished!! We have somewhere to hang out all summer! I was getting worried though because My little Cooper friend hated the pool! The first couple times we went swimming he pretty much whined/cried the entire time. Although I was totally excited to be swimming every day I was not looking forward to having a miserable baby. But he likes it now!! I got him a little pool and filled it with warm water, so that it would be just like the bath tub, which he loves, and not long after that he was in the pool with everybody else. So it is going to be a great summer after all!!

We are the Cure!

This morning I woke up a little earlier than I would have liked, but all for a very good cause! Within the last 6 months three people in my life have been diagnosed with breast cancer, so I decided I need to support the cause. Plus I never know if this disease will someday affect me or even my daughter!
None the less a good reason to get together with some good friends and get a little exercise in! We arrived early and got to check out all the free stuff they were giving away. Always fun because EVERYTHING is pink! That is where we got our sweet scarves! Thanks Ford!

We finally finished at about 1 hour 7 minutes, but by the time we waited for our turn to take a picture in front of the clock we added another 3 minutes. We had a fun time and we are already talking about next year!!
