Biggest Loser 5K

This last weekend my girls and I headed to St. George again so that I could do the Biggest Loser Resort 5k. I have become a huge fan of the show this season since a friend of mine, Sarah has been a contestant. We bundled up Saturday morning, it was freezing, and headed to Tuachan. It was beautiful and kind of fun to finish the race running across the stage. Chelsea and I mostly walked while I pushed Aubrey in the stroller. She was the best and slept the entire time. Sarah was nice enough to come and get us and run across the finish line with us again. Chloe stayed with Reagan, Hunter, and Nick and cheered us on as we went around. It was fun and a nice reason to go and visit Chelsea!

9 months

My little sunshine! She does make me happy when skies are gray!!

Auber-Dobber-Dabber -doo is getting so old, so quick!!

Just in the last week or two she has started clapping (she has been trying to for a long time, but her hands finally come together now), saying mama (only when she is hungry and/or tired and wants me), waving, and just yesterday she crawled (only 3 movements, but still!!).

She went to the doctor on Thursday and he said that her two bottom teeth should be in in about a week or so. Lucky for her and me, she didn't have to have any shots this time.

Here are her 9 month old stats:

weight: 17 lbs 9 oz (just under the 50%)

height: 28 inches (75%)

head circ: 17 3/4 inches (75%)

No more training wheels!

We were at baseball practice for Nick a couple of weeks ago and Alex asked to ride the bike of the little boy he was playing with. I saw that it didn't have training wheels, but figured he could give a try and then wouldn't bug me anymore. Little did I know he was a pro!! He was off, not even a wobble! So he asked Chris to take off his training wheels and he has been rocking his bike ever since!! Yay Panda!!

365- Week 12

It was a long, very busy week! Not a lot of quality pictures were taken. But it seems that the pictures that were taken are mostly Chloe girl. Maybe I will start dedicating weeks to my different kids. We will see. Anyways...

03/19/11This picture was taken after opening ceremonies for baseball. We were walking to the car to leave and Chloe just sits down in the grass and poses and says take my picture. She is a funny girl!

03/20/11

NO picture

03/21/11Chloe is on the A-B Honor Roll again for the 2nd Trimester. Whoo-hoo!!

03/22/11

And Nick is on the A-B Honor Roll too for the 2nd Trimester. Two back to back days of awards assemblies.

03/23/11

Alex waiting in the dugout for his turn to bat. This is their first game. He got a couple of great hits.

03/24/11Chloe loses her 2nd tooth in a week and changes from a little hill-billy to having a cute toothless grin! She was so excited when that tooth came out!!

03/25/11

I didn't take this picture, obviously, but it is still cute and still a picture from that day!

{Three Little Cousins}

Jordan and Amber came into town Thursday night and surprised everyone, so while they were here we went to the mall and had the babies pictures taken. It was a little hectic trying to get the three of them to be happy at the same time, especially since it was nap time. But even when they are crying they are still cute!! Little cousins, little friends!

LA Dodgers

Baseball is officially consuming our lives again, and now more than ever before since all three boys are playing this season.
Nick is playing coach pitch again. I missed sign ups for kid pitch and I think it actually worked out better that way, he gets to excel a little and he is on Chris' cousins team.
Alex and Cooper are both playing t-ball for their first time. It is nice that they can be on the same team to cut down on some of the busy-ness! All of their games will be at the same park so that will help too. Nick's coach's brother is their coach. So they all get to be the Dodgers with the same sponsor, Lin Air. Alex and Cooper are both really excited that Chris is helping coach too.
Opening day was this last Saturday. They had opening day ceremonies where each team got to run the bases together, team pictures and Nick's division had a scrimmage game too. Games start this week, Nick's first one is tonight. So let the craziness begin!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

One green shamrock, in the morning dew,
Another one sprouted
And then there were two.

Two green shamrocks, growing beneath a tree;
Another one sprouted
And then there were three.

Three green shamrocks by the cottage door;
Another one sprouted
And then there were four.

Four green shamrocks, near a beehive;
Another one sprouted
And then there five.

Five little shamrocks, bright and emerald green,
Think of all the luck these shamrocks will bring.

My five lucky shamrocks!

I am really starting to love these smaller holidays. There are so many fun things to do for them without all the pressure and stress that the bigger ones bring. We started our day with green pancakes and green eggs and ham. Alex requested that I actually sit down to the table to eat with them. He said that it is special if we eat all together. They wanted Chris to be there, but he had to work, unfortunately St. Patrick's day is not an official holiday in the A/C world! The kids all put on their new green shirts and I sent them off to school. Chloe was so excited to see if she had caught a leprechaun at school with her trap. She asked me if she could keep it if she caught one, if we could buy a cage for him, and get him a little bed. I guess leprechauns are sneaky little boogers because he got away leaving only one of his shoes behind! Alex made a little leprechaun hat and Cooper got a clover that a leprechaun left for him. They loved all the leprechaun talk! That afternoon Alex, Cooper, Aubrey and I went over to our friend Danielle's house for a little play time. Lauren made shamrock cookies for the kids to frost and they colored some St. Patrick's day pictures. The kids had fun and it was nice to be able to sit and chat with my friends.

After I picked Nick and Chloe from school I came home to a very stinky house. I grew up never eating corn beef and cabbage, ever! Most of the things that my mom doesn't eat/like I don't know how to cook and corn beef has been one that I haven't cared to try. So since we have been married Chris has missed out on corn beef and cabbage every St. Patty's Day. I thought I would be a good wife and start a new little tradition for my family, but I don't think I am that nice. I can now say that I have had corn beef and cabbage and I DO NOT LIKE IT!! Oh well, at least we had some green jello and green cupcakes for a dessert=) It was a regular day mostly with some fun added in and lots of green food coloring!

[Great weather]

Until yesterday, the weather has been perfect for going for walks and going to the park. So, that is exactly what we did. After the kids got home from school they grabbed their scooters and we went around the corner to Rose Park. Josh and Amber live close by so Josh, Everett, and Jordyn joined us. We were dog sitting too, so we brought Max.
The kids would stay at the park forever if I would let them! They ran around going through the mazes. And Nick played a little baseball, football, and lacrosse with Josh.

365- Week 11

I have had fun today playing with pictures. Thanks Danielle and Lauren for introducing me to Picnik!
03/12/11

While feeding the ducks I set Aubrey down in the grass for a minute. I loved the face she was making! She did not like her feet touching the grass!

03/13/11Jordan and Amber were in St. George for the wedding too, so we had lunch with them at Red Robin before we both headed home.

03/14/11

Chloe had to make a leprechaun trap for school. She was very happy with what Dad and I came up with while she was sleeping. When she got up on Monday morning she helped me decorate the outside of her trap. Lots of rainbows to attract the leprechauns!

03/15/11 Mommy and her messy faced baby!

03/16/11
Best buddies these boys!!

03/17/11

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

03/18/11 Coop-a-loop! How am I ever going to get this kid to leave his clothes on?

[Last Weekend]

This last weekend my cousin, Daniel got married so it gave us a good excuse to go hang out with some of our friends in St. George.
I was able to attend the sealing on Saturday morning. Unfortunately by myself because Chris forgot his church clothes, but none the less it felt great to be in the temple and witness a beautiful sealing ceremony.
Congratulations Daniel and Mary Ann or like their family calls them, Maryaniel!!
Nick stayed home with Grandma Karen for one night and Grandma Debbie the next, so he could play in his scrimmage game. But we spent Saturday just hanging out playing a game of Ticket to Ride. Chris and I got our butts whooped, mostly me, but it was still fun. Later in the afternoon the guys went off to do some skeet shooting while Chelsea and I took the kids to feed the ducks and play at the park.
Anybody who knows me knows that I have a fear of birds. So...before we even got out of the car I told my kids that if they were under attack drop the food and calmly walk away, and also "You are on your own!". But luckily for us the ducks must have been well fed that day and we had an enjoyable time feeding them without any crying!
After a while the kids got tired of feeding the ducks and set off to find turtles. Turtles?? The kids were determined to find turtles! So we walked around and what do you know, we found one by the edge of the water. The kids pet it and it didn't move, at all. So we were wondering if it was still alive. We got a stick, no movement, until Alex gave him a nice shove. It still gives me the creeps just thinking about it, but it was a good laugh!! Fun times!!
We played at the park for a bit before the guys joined us to go to dinner at our favorite Pizza Factory. After dinner the guys took the kids home to put them to bed and Chelsea and I got to do a little shopping.
And when we got home the boys headed out again. Chris was determined to shoot a coyote or a jackrabbit! They were out late with no such luck. I guess they were kind of lucky that they didn't get shot! They thought for a while that some crazy people were hunting them..I guess Chris can try agin next time.
Thanks Chelsea and Nick for such a fun weekend!!
(This whole post is in black and white for you, Chelsea!)

365- Week 10

03/05/11 Actually taken the night before at the Stake Roadshow. The show ended up lasting more than 4 hours! Poor guy couldn't take anymore and fell asleep sitting up. Grandpa Steve grabbed him, after I took this picture of course and snuggled up with him.

03/06/11
Always playing with that tongue!!

03/07/11
My little freckle boy! Chris was wrestling with Cooper the other day and pretended that he erased Cooper's freckles. Cooper got up really quick and ran to me asking if they were still there. I am glad he likes his freckles!

03/08/11 Sisters are the best!

03/09/11 STRIKE!! For our anniversary we went bowling and out to dinner at T-bones. It was really good!

03/10/11 Hanging out in the front while Dad was working, riding his new quad.

03/11/11
This is what I found when I opened up the suitcase to start packing! Funny story: After the older kids went to school Friday I told Cooper that we were going to St. George. He was really excited to see George, Curious George. I then told him that St. George is a place and he said, "Where the have monkeys??". It was so cute!! That boy always cracks me up!

Blue and Gold

The newest Wolf Cub Scout is at our house!
Last night was Nick's first pack meeting and it happened to be the Blue and Gold Banquet. Nick absolutely loved every bit of it! He had to go over to the church early to help set up, so when I got there I went to see where he was. Still working in the kitchen with the leaders while all the other boys were playing. I am glad he is such a hard worker like his dad!
Nick was on flag duty last night. I really enjoy watching my children do the things that they love and you can tell that Nick loves Cub Scouts! We had Southern Highlands Ward's version of Cafe Rio for dinner and then their was the awards. Nick received his Bobcat badge, flag football belt loop and pin and I received my Bobcat pin as well.Nick has some really great leaders (Sister Pingel and Sister Oehler). They have already helped him get tons of stuff done in this last month. Nick is on fire right now and can't wait to earn more belt loops!

365- Week 9

This week has been CrAzY busy to say the least. Some days I wish I could go back to the days where I had nothing to do, but if I did I wouldn't have all my beautiful children!

02/26/11Aubrey with her little cousins, Lucy and Makaylin. They are going to be such great little friends!

02/27/11I had to get a picture of my kids with Jordan and Amber before they moved to Ely. I know that we will see them often, but it just won't be the same anymore=(

They are the fun aunt and uncle. My kids are so sad. Nick is already planning on moving up there to be with Jordan!

02/28/11Nick didn't want to go to the doctor with me to get Chloe's stitches out, so he went to Ben's house to play. I got a phone call from Juli as we were leaving telling me that Nick face planted into a cactus and that he needed me. This picture doesn't look to bad, but he was all jacked up.

03/01/11In between all of our activities for Cooper's birthday Alex had his first baseball practice. He is playing t-ball, so this should be interesting!

03/02/11

I really meant to take at least one picture this day! I even brought my camera to Jordan and Amber's going away dinner. I was having some serious anxiety issues that night, so no pictures!

03/03/11 Nick at his first pack meeting for Cub scouts. He is a very proud little scout!

03/04/11Super Coop!! I love Friday mornings! Cooper doesn't have school. It is so nice to have our one on one time until we go pick up Alex. We were playing airplane and baby too (Cooper was pretending to be my baby!).
