{China} Day 7

01.11.13
I know!! Picture overload!!
Jenny and I woke up early and went on a walk/run with Dad. On our way back we did the pebble path again. It is supposed to aid in digestion.
Today was our last day in Macau so we had a lot of stuff that we wanted to see and do.
Going uphill. There was a lot of up and down! Katie LOVED it!

They make everything into dragons.

The view from the top of the hill.

The bridge from Macau to Taipa

There is also a light house at the top.

Everyone hangs their laundry outside.

Banzai trees everywhere.

We passed by the church.

We tried some not so good pastries from different places, but this place was delicious! We grabbed some to share and went over to McDonald's so Jeremy could have lunch. He was anti trying anything new at this point!
Egg Tarts are one of the things that all the tourists brochures said you had to try in Macau. They were just alright to me. Jenny, Katie, and Dad loved them though. And Chinese chocolate milk. Yum!
Going into one of the temples in Macau

After the temples we taught Dad how to ride the bus (he walks everywhere) and took a ride to the Macau Tower.
It was pretty much like the Stratosphere except taller. It was really neat though because we could actually see Main Land China.

Jenny really wanted to go to the science museum, so we ended our day there.

It reminded me a lot of the Children's Discover museum.
We walked down the street and had dinner at an Indian restaurant that Dad found by his office. That was my first Indian food experience and I loved it.
Some of the people my dad works with. He took this for me after we came home.

And then it was our 2 ish mile walk home to the apartment. I think this was one of our earliest nights in (and it was still after 9), but we needed it because we had to wake up early to go to HongKong.

{China} Day 6

01.10.12

We started our day off at the panda park. It was really small and just barely worth the dollar twenty-five to get in (10 patacas).

They had flamingos.
And some ostriches too. They TOTALLY grossed me out!

They only had two pandas and they were just sitting in the backs of habitats munching on some bamboo.

We took a taxi from the Galaxy to the pandas because of construction, so after we were done we had no idea how to get anywhere! We were a little lost for a while!

Some maps were easier to read than others!

The majority of the time it was super foggy.

Right across the street from the beach.

Hac Sa Beach on Coloane.

After the beach we figured out how to ride the bus and it was Jeremy's turn to pick where we went, so we headed to the Hard Rock. Jeremy was having a hard time with all the food and the Hard Rock Cafe did NOT let him down.  They had a lot of fun stuff to look at too.

Dad was over at Galaxy for a meeting so he swung by Hard Rock and picked us up. We went to his office and hung out while he did some work. I think all of us fell asleep at some point.

Then we walked down to the Sands so Dad could show us some of the stuff he did there. Katie couldn't go in because she wasn't 21 (they are very strict on that). So we took turns waiting outside with her.

No pictures allowed inside. So this is my quick shot of the largest chandelier in the world. And my dad designed it!
We took the shuttle from Sands over to the Venetian on Taipa. We walked the shops and did some shopping. We had dinner in the food court.
Most of the food was questionable to me. Jeremy and I opted for some Fatburger.

On our walk home we had to stop and take a picture with the swings because they are so tiny!

Dad showing me what these walkways are for. Man they hurt!
And of course, another late night!!
