At the December pack meeting Alex received his Bobcat (and I received my pin) award.

And Nicholas received his Weblos award, his Arrow of Light, his religious knot, and crossed over the bridge into Boy Scouts.Still hard to believe I ahve an 11 year old!

My Nick turned 11 this year.

I can't believe that I am old enough to have an 11 year old!!!

Nick's birthday was pretty chill, but according to him it was the best birthday EVER. 

Nick is such a good boy. He woke up and just started doing his chores. We had Nick's favorite, chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. Aubrey and I brought Pizza Hut and had lunch with Nick.

Nick had baseball practice so we brought Winchell's  donuts for his team and then went to eat at Raising Cane's with all of our family. We got Nick an iPod and he got lots of iTunes gift cards. Man this boy is spoiled AND LOVED!!

Aubrey's 2nd day of school was make up picture day so she gets be in the yearbook.

This is her "I am not going to smile and you aren't going to make me" face!

Primary Party

This last Saturday we had our 2nd annual  Christmas party for all of our primary teachers and leaders.

We had a roast dinner with yummy sides and a super cute hot chocolate bar/ dessert table that Amber did.

Laura made a cute video of all the kids thanking their teachers and leaders. We played some games and had a great time. Already thinking about next year. I am glad to be able to serve with so many great people!

Aubrey Ann

Aubrey's first day of school was a success. Minimal crying from the both of us.

Ms. Humm & Ms. Lee are her teachers. She likes Ms. Lee better :)

She packs a lunch box with a juice and snack everyday. 

She is already improving so much in all areas. 

Although I was unsure of what to do with myself each morning all by my lonesome...

the time flies by quickly and I seem to be as busy as ever! 

Just some randoms about Aubs...

She is getting so big, and SO old!! She LOVES "lips". And has to do it herself! 

Aubrey is loving dance and school. And LOVES writing and coloring.

She is very social and each night before bed she asks for someone to come play. Kaylin, Lucy, and Natalie are a few of her favorites.

and She still loves to be sung "Twinkle, Twinkle" at night. 

First Place

We spent Veteran's weekend at the baseball field while the Rascal's played in a tournament. The boys played 7 games over the 3 days and ended up winning 1st Place!!!

The boys worked hard and earned that trophy! 

Way to go RASCALS!!!

Dancer of the Month

At the end of October I received an email from Chloe's dance studio.

"CONGRATULATIONS Chloe Lichty for being The  Innovation Dance Star Of The Month! Chloe works hard and demonstrates great team leadership skills!"

 

Chloe was beyond excited and I was so proud of my girl!

{November}

Can't believe the year is almost over!

1- At the beginning of the month we went to a costume birthday party. Christ and I were Thing1 and Thing2. 2-Chloe was the Cat in the Hat. 3- Chloe and Alex were twins at school, and even on purpose! 4- Aubrey and Alex bringing down the laundry. More like Alex bringing up Aubrey! 5- More baseball for my baseball boy! 6- Camo day at school. 7- Chloe being a goof ball at baseball. 8- Aubrey having lunch at baseball. 9- My boy and his first place trophy!!! 10- Alex and Cooper had their end of the season party for the Nationals. 11- Cooper lost his two front teeth! 12- Aubrey goes to school. I have all 5 kids at 1 school. This will be the only year that EVER happens. 13- Aubrey's 1st day of school. 14- More baseball! We are there A LOT!! 15-Aubrey's 2nd day of school happen to be make up pictures, so now she gets to be in the yearbook. 16- Aubrey and Kaylin! 17- I got to watch Kenzie! 18- Last minute we decided to go to opening night of Catching Fire. It was so good!! 19- We had a few rainy days. Aubrey LOVES using the umbrella. 20- My "A" babies at more baseball. 21- On Thanksgiving we went to see Frozen. It was so cute!! 22- A family selfie on Thanksgiving. 23- Still LOVE this guy! 24- Aubrey playing at the park. 25- Nick is such a good big brother. 

Reading again

I have forgotten how much I LOVE reading  a good book! The last month I have been a reading fool!

{October}

It is crazy that October has already come and gone!

1- Nick played in a Breast Cancer Tournament at the beginning of the month. The team all had pink wrist bands with "Mrs. B" on them. Mrs. B is the team mom and she was diagnosed with breast cancer last December, so they dedicated the tournament to her. They did really awesome, only losing 1 game coming in 2nd place. 2- Nick is such a good big brother snuggling with his little sis. 3- Kitty ears to go to baseball. 4- Max. He is such a cute puppy. When he is being nice I actually think I might let him come live with us until Katie gets home. Then I remember how much I hate hair and change my mind! 5- I think this was the last time that I watched Lucy. She started school so now Aubrey is by herself all day again. 6- Grandma took the little kids to see Sophia and Jake LIVE. It was a really cute show and the kids loved it. 7- Pumpkin patch with our good friends. 8- For Bunco Jenny and I dressed up as Thing 1 & thing 2. We won best costume for the night! 9- I took Chloe, Alex, and Cooper for well checks all at the same time. Probably not a good idea. It was pain trying to get all 3 of them to settle down in the tiny room while we waited for the doctor. 10- Lots of school projects lately! Cooper had to make his pumpkin into a character from a book. Chris was such a good sport and did it with him. And I am glad because he did way better than I would have.  11- Pink day at school. The kids were so excited all week waiting for it to come. Nick and Cooper were the most excited. Their new favorite color is pink!! 12- Heather and I both showed up at a baptism wearing the exact same thing! We had to get a picture! 13- Alex hit a home run! He got the game ball that night. 14- Chloe worked on her project all month by herself and completed the whole thing completely by herself. I was so proud of her! 15- Mom and Dad matching in our NATS shirts. 16- Aubrey handcuffed herself to the door. It was pretty cute! 17- And then the next game Cooper got a triple! And he got the game ball that night. 18- We celebrated Chris' 31st birthday with dinner at home and a DQ cake with our friends. 19- Chris and I up at Mt. Charleston. It was such a nice day to be up in the mountains. 20- Trunk-or-treat with the Schweitzer's for their ward. 21- Dinner at Lucille's and bowling for Chris' birthday. 22- Our ward trunk-or-treat. 23- Aubrey reading the scriptures, "and it came to pass". 24- Cowboys at school on Halloween. 25- Finally...Halloween. And October is over!

We have kind of set a tradition of having my family over on Halloween for chili and cornbread and then to go trick or treating together. The kids love being with all their cousins.

This year we have Wendy, baby Snow White, Michael, Jason, Flash, Izzie, Mr. Smee, a little pirate, Tinkerbell, Vanellope, Sophia, John, a vampire, a gypsy and another pirate.

Always a good time when we are together!

Mt. Charleston

Chris took the week off for his birthday, and the kids ended up the kids having  a couple days off from school too. Zach had the day off too so we  headed up to Mt. Charleston for the day with the Schweitzer's. It was pretty chilly up there!! We had lunch and let the kids run wild. After a bit we drove down the mountain a little and found a little hike to do. It was more of a stroll but it was nice to all be together, definitely a fun day!

Pumpkin Patch

We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with our friends. They tore through the tickets having a good time and then we headed to our house for dinner and games. Always a fun time and such a great tradition!

Nationals- Fall 2013

Alex and Cooper played fall ball on the Nationals this year. They started back in September and had their last game last week. They asked Chris to coach again this year since they had twenty 8 and under teams. They had a good season and both improved so much!

Fall 2013 {School Pictures}

School pictures usually aren't my favorite. Why do I keep buying them?? I am not sure! I guess I just want to be able to have all of their years in hard copies. Oh well. I have relaxed a lot and even let the kids pick what to wear. But when Alex came out of school with his top button buttoned it made me so mad! Stupid! But I can smile about it now. Fall 2013 school pictures!

September

September was crazy busy, trying to get back into a schedule with school, baseball, dance, and just life after somewhat of a break with summer.

1- Labor Day baseball. We all got up semi early and went and played a family game of baseball. It was so fun! 2- Lots of rain! We actually put our umbrellas to use quite a few times! 3- The kid's first Frias Spirit Day. 4- Nick has first game of the new season for Rascals. 5- We dropped Max off at the dog hotel before heading to Utah. 6- We stopped along the way to take 8 year old pictures of Alex. 7- We spent the weekend in Utah for Jeremy and Mical's wedding. 8- On our way home Chris was a nice guy and helped some damsels in distress change their tire. 9- Aubrey started dance again. She LOVES it! 10- Nick had a check up. He has been having trouble breathing at baseball. Good news: he is A-okay! 11- Jordan and Amber had their baby at home. Crazy! and she is super cute. 12- With all the rain we had LOTS of rainbows. The best was a double rainbow in our backyard. 13- Alex was baptized. 14- Chloe's new competition team. A couple more than last year including a boy! 15- Shower buddies. 16- My crazies on the way home from church. 17- Sleeping beauty! 18- Alex and Cooper had their first game. Go NATIONALS! 19- Double headers almost every week. Nick almost had a hot over the fence. it was so close. 20- Aubrey has her first dentist appointment. She did so good!! 21- Aubrey at dance. 22- While at the car wash the kids found $40 blowing in the street. LUCKY!! 23- Nick being sassy. He is pretty funny. 24- Playing in the backyard before school. I LOVE the weather this time of the year. 25- And then the next day it is freezing!! 

A quick stop for jackets and hot chocolate and we made it through the game.

Alex's Baptism

Alex was baptized and conformed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by his dad. It was a special day for our family. I am glad so many friends and family could be there to support him.

We had a luncheon had our house afterwards and I forgot to take pictures!!

Thursday night as I was leaving Bunco I got a text that Amber was in labor. I was so excited I couldn't even think about going home and going to sleep. Lucky enough Makenzie came really quick!
