We spent the first day of 2010 sliding down a snow covered mountain! My kids are all a perfect age that the day was very pleasant. We bundled them up, and even Cooper knew what to do as soon as we got there. It was pretty cute. He would grab a board and walk up the hill until he started to slip and then jump on. I could have stayed there all day just watching him. He isn't usually so brave, so I got a total kick out of him.Nick is my little dare devil trying to do jumps and everything! Chloe had a blast with Jenny and Katie riding down with them a million and a half times! And Alex went down a few times, but I think his favorite part was climbing up a mountain with fresh snow sinking in waist deep. He would have gone to the top if I could have kept up with him!
The afternoon was spent with good family, good friends, good conversation, yummy treats, and some hot chocolate to keep us warm!
The kids are already talking about our next trip. Maybe we can get up there again before next year!
