Friends, Family, Food and Fun
What a busy, but FUN weekend we had to celebrate Easter! We started on Friday with an egg hunt for playgroup with a little lunch. I think I always get more out of playgroup than the kids! It is so nice to be able to sit with such great women and have an adult conversation, I love it!!
On Saturday we went to the ward egg hunt. The kids had a blast. By no
w Alex is finding a couple more eggs because he now realizes that there is candy in each egg! It is hard to keep him motivated because he just wants to sit down and eat the candy he has. Funny boy!!

Funny boy!!And Sunday was the best! Cooper and Alex woke up first so they got to go downstairs first to see what the Easter Bunny left them. Nick and Chloe were total sleepy heads and woke up just in time to get ready for church. They did get to take a quick peek at their baskets as we were off to church. The Easter Bunny hid the eggs at our house after church since he knew how hard it is for Mom to get everybody ready for church on time! And I think we will make this a tradition because the kids look much cuter looking for eggs after they were all ready rather than in their jammies with crazy hair!!
I
In Young Womens we watched the Lamb of God video. What a perfect way to end our church day! To really focus on the true meaning of Easter and actually be able to visualize what Christ went through in his last seven days. I am so thankful for the Atonement in my life and hopefully I will be able to teach my children why we really celebrate Easter.
Later on we got to go have Easter dinner with my family and of course we had another
egg hunt for the kids. I think Easter is officially my favorite holiday. I love the weather, all the cute spring colors and it doesn't help that my dad's ham is my favorite! I am so thankful to have such a great family and especially greatful that they are all (almost all!)so close!

Another Park Day
So, Friday was play group at the park, a little chilly in the shade, but still FUN! After we leave the park we always take the side street that the park is on to see if we can spot the peacocks. We found one, then two , and then there were fourteen! So we pulled over to feed them some fish crackers and Scooby snacks (I think they will eat anything!). We usually roll the window down enough to throw the food out and then roll the window up really quickly because I am scared of birds, but that is another story. Anyways, Nick wasn't even rolling his window down enough for the kids to throw their food out, so I decided to show him that there was nothing to be scared of. I rolled the window all the way down in the front and was taking some pictures of the kids watching the peacocks when one of them flew up to my window. SCARY!! I screamed, scared Cooper and ruined my whole plan. After Friday I am not sure we will be feeding the peacocks anytime soon!

Happy Anniversary
Last night was so much fun! We got almost a full 24 hours with no children. Of course I missed them, but it was nice to be able to have some alone time with Chris and remember why we love each other, with out the stress of having 4 small children.
I tried to surprise him because in the 6 years we have been married I have yet to actually do it! As usual I got so excited that I ended up telling him on Friday night about our suite at the Stratosphere (that is where we stayed on our wedding night). We went to dinner at The Bootlegger (where
we went on our first date) and then to stay overnight in our suite with NO kids! We actually went to the top of the tower this time too. It was Chris' first time up there, but it was very windy so we didn't stay long. We had a blast! Thanks Mom & Dad and Jordan & Amber for watching the kids! You are best!!!
Tubby Time Tooper
Last month Cooper started making the cutest face ever! He scrunches up his little nose, breathes in and out, and puckers out his lips. Me and my kids are constantly doing it, so that Cooper will do it too. So the other night my sister spent the night and we were determined to get a full, front on shot of him doing it. I figured the bath tub would contain him making it a little easier to get the shot. But no...he was too fascinated with the bubbles to cooperate, but we had fun trying!!!

Six Years
From this moment You are the one."
And after six years I love you more than the day I said "I do".
Thank you for always being there for me, you truly are my bestfriend.
Happy Anniversary!

I've been tagged
I was a freshmen in high school. I didn't realize this until now, but this is the year I met Chris. We were in the same seminary class. But I don't think the thought ever crossed my mind that we would be married 10 years later with 4 kids!!! I spent most of my time hanging out with my best friend Amanda, getting in trouble with her.
Snacks I enjoy (when calories don't matter!!)...
1) red velvet cupcakes
2) Nothing Bundt Cake (pretty much any flavor)
3) Cold Stone
Pretty much anything sweet!!!
5 things on my to list:
1) Exercise
2) go to Target
3) Laundry
4) Ironing
5) work on YW stuff for camp
What I would do if I suddenly became a billionaire...
Buy Chris a sand rail, so I didn't have to listen to him beg for one EVERY night! Buy a bigger house. Buy Jeremy a house, so he could move back. Go shopping!!!
3 Bad Habits...
1) twee zing
2) always late
3) not brushing my teeth at night
5 Places I have lived...
1) Las Vegas, NV ( that's it, SAD, I know!)
5 Jobs I have had...
1) Interior design assistant
2) Floral assistant
3) Runner
4) Bank teller
5) MOM
Things people don't know about me...
That my house is not always clean! I tell everybody that and nobody believes me! I don't accept help very easily. I am kind of CrAZy in my own little way! Everything has to be done my way. I don't know what else to say, I am pretty boring. The only things I can think of that everybody doesn't already know, I don't really want everybody to know. So I guess I am kind of mysterious!
I tag Kim, Danielle, and Janeen!

Baby Blessing
Sunday was the real reason that Jeremy, Juli, Ben, Hailey, and Will were in town. They came down for the weekend to be at the blessing of the newest member of the family, Jordyn Elizabeth. So Sunday morning we went to the blessing. Josh did a wonderful job , he was so calm and gave her a beautiful blessing. It was a great testimony meeting to get to hear two of my brother bear their testimonies.
Last week Amber and I went shopping to get Ellie's blessing dress when we decided that she needed a bracelet to match the pearl beading at the top of her dress. We went to the bead store and got some beads and Amber made her a bracelet. Baby bracelets are always cute because they are so tiny! I liked hers so much that I decided to make one for all the girls in our family including my grandma.

All the girls at the blessing luncheon.

Cooper's 1st Birthday
After pictures it was party time! I am still having a hard time believing that Cooper is 1 already! First of all I have never had a baby turn one and not have the next one already on the way! So, right now I am in uncharted territory! It really does seem like he was just a tiny baby, but he is one now! He has only been crawling for a month now and I honestly believe that it is because Nick and Chloe never let him do his own thing. They are constantly moving him from one room to the next and upstairs and then back down again. He is finally back to his happy little self after 8 ear infections. I new that my happy baby was there somewhere! He is talking up a storm, mostly just jibber-jabber, but he does say mama and dada. Just this morning he started standing up in his crib when I go in to get him, and pulling himself up on the furniture. He started giving kisses and is my sweet little mama's boy! We are so blessed to have him in our family.
We just had a small party at my mom's house. I made cupcakes (which he loves!) and we gave out M&M's to the kids because they are Cooper's favorite. I am sure you are thinking how can he have a favorite candy all ready, but it is true! My mom always has a candy dish on the counter with holiday colored M&M's and in the last month or so Cooper has learned that. As soon as we walk in the door he holds out his hands and whines until we go get a treat! Smart boy!!!

Family Pictures

Our very busy weekend began on Saturday morning with family pictures. Usually my kids do so well that I am the one with the crazy idea to get the whole" fam damily" together for pictures whenever Jeremy and Juli are in town. But this time didn't go so smoothly. I arrived first thinking I could get my kids done by themselves and their individual pictures before there was too much commotion, but it didn't work!! Cooper and Alex screamed as soon as I set them down and didn't stop until I picked them up! So the grand kids picture is real cute! I guess we got what we needed, the whole family and I will have to have another stressful morning in the near future!
All 21 of us!
