Harry Potter Sneak Peek!!

Monday night we got to go see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2! I think this one is my new favorite (I think I say that after each one!). Josh won tickets on the radio so he took Jenny, Katie, Ashton, Amber and me. We had lots of fun looking like BIG dorks with our matching HP shirts while we waited in line to get in!! Jenny and I even had lightening bolts drawn on our foreheads! For a little bit we were wondering if we were actually going to get to see the show. They took all of the other groups in and forgot about us. We ended up having to sit on the very front row of the 3D showing, but I guess it was worth it to get to see it before everyone else!

365- Week 27

Last week was such a boring and lazy week for us! Since school has been out we have been go, go, GO! It was kind of nice to just hang out at home all week. I think the kids were worn out too because it wasn't until Friday of last week that they asked if we could go somewhere. Anyways... another week!

After the kids were done playing on the slip'n'slide Chloe asked me for a towel so she could lay out and work on her tan. She is a funny girl!!

I drove to Provo to go to the funeral of a very amazing person and Chris stayed home to take care of the kiddos. He got a new iphone and was very excited, so he sent me this. They were having a movie night at home watching Transformers.

{4th of July}

I LOVE the 4th of July! It is my favorite holiday. I get all happy when I see the red, white, and blue sections at the store.

We started our day with breakfast at our house. I made some cinnamon rolls and Chris made some yummy french toast and bacon. We put some balloons on the kids bikes and had our own little bike parade.

Aubrey and Dad had a nap and then we went over to my mom's for some swimming and BBQ. The kids played in the pool four hours while the adults had some fun conversation. I laughed so hard a couple of times that I had tears. Jeremy manned the grill since Dad is still in China and we had lots of yummy food. Some friends came over and some more fun was had just hanging out. We went home and did some fireworks just our little family. It was a great 4th spent with family and friends, lots of food, and some fireworks! Maybe next year we can have a little less food (I felt soooo sick) and a lot more fireworks!!

Summer Fun!

I LOVE summer time!! Especially this year since the kids have a real summer break from school we get a full 3 months to play. I love that we get a break from our routine. I LOVE all the time we get to be outside soaking up the warm, I mean HOT summer sun!! I L.O.V.E. all the freedom we have! If we want to stay in our pajamas all day we can (it is 2 o'clock in the afternoon and I am still not dressed!), if we want to go swimming we can.

I LOVE all the time I get to do fun things with my kids!!

Last week a friend invited us to the recreation center pool. It was really nice. The kids LOVED the slides. Right when we got there they marched up the stairs and marched right back down to me because Chloe and Alex were afraid. I told them to just try it once and after that they were glued. Cooper wanted to go too, but I had him stay with me and Aubrey in the little kid area. Towards the end of the afternoon Nick wanted me to go on the slide with him, so I figured Cooper could come too. He loved it!! And he was even able to swim to the stairs all by himself! Another fun day at the pool, we will definitely be back there before summer is over!!

If you take all 5 kids to the grocery store...

And they are super good (and even help put all the groceries away)!

They probably deserve some FUN!

So you pull out that side-walk-chalk that has been hidden for months.

They color and make their own little masterpieces.

But really they are dying because it is so HOT outside!!

So you pull out the dusty slip 'n' slide and unwind the hose.

They thank you over and over for letting them have a fun day.

So you go inside and pull out the snow cone maker and make them a treat as you watch out the kitchen window as the kids make some fun summer memories!!

"Field Trip Friday"- The M Pool

The kids had so much fun when we went to to the M pool a couple weeks ago that we thought we would make it one of our field trips. So some of our friends joined us for some fun in the sun! I was a little nervous on the way there that it was going to be super busy because of the holiday weekend, but it so wasn't. It was actually pretty empty, which was really nice. The kids had fun swimming, even if the water was freezing! We ordered some lunch and had a fun day hanging by the pool!

A small miracle happened this day... Chris got home early from work. Since it has gotten hot he has been working like crazy and we have barely seen him, so we were super happy to spend some time together. We went to Cici's for dinner and then to see Cars 2. I thought it was super cute!!
