What happen to June?
It seems as though I couldn't wait for June to come. Fun things were planned, family was coming to visit, Jenny was graduating, and now it is all over! The kids are almost done with school and then we can enjoy our summer in the pool!
A very short park day! Even though it wasn't nearly as hot as it usually is, it only took minutes for their little faces to turn bright red.
My Aunts Lynda, Tammy, and Lisa came into town for Jenny's graduation. This is Lynda with the "girl's club". The secret password to join them is "Hello Kitty". They had such a blast and Lynda was such a good sport playing with them!
The beautiful graduate!! The first in our family to graduate with honors! Go Jenny! We are so proud of you!

Water Day!

Every year about this time the Early Childhood class at Alamo has water day and this was our 5th year going. We had double duty this year too because Alex is in the morning class and Chloe is in the afternoon. So we spent the entire day outside. The kids had a blast, hopefully they will sleep good tonight!! I only manned the snow cone maker and I am pooped! Even though we will be going to a new school next year Bonnie said we are always invited to water day.
After school when Nick came in from kindergarten Cooper ran up to Nick and gave him a hug. I love those moments. When they aren't fighting, just loving each other. Cooper wanted to carry Nick's backpack and only wanted to hold Nick's hand. It was too cute! And I love that Nick is such a good big brother!

Happy Father's Day!!
Last night Chris started playing hide-and-seek with the kids while I was baking all his goodies for today. It started out pretty basic, and ended up with a hide-a-thon between the 2 of us. Lots of fun! And the kids learned some good hiding spots in the mean time.

Bowling!
Over the weekend we went bowling with some good friends of ours. The kids had a blast! Cooper liked it so much I spent most of the night trying to make sure that he didn't take anybody elses turn. Taking turns is a hard concept for this two-year old! And just because you have your own shoes and ball doesn't mean you are any good! I guess at least for me! Chris did super good winning it for the guys. We ended our night at Red Robin for dinner! Super yum and a fun night!!Wednesday, May 27, 2009
Again!
Chloe got to celebrate her birthday at school yesterday. She brought cupcakes for snack time and passed out goody bags to all her friends.

Memorial Day
We did something a little unusual for us, we woke up early on a holiday and headed to the park for a game of baseball. With just my family we almost had enough for two teams, so a couple of friends came and joined us. It was Jeremy, Juli, Ben, Jenny, Ashton, Jordan, and Amber against me, Nick, Josh, Amber, my dad, Katie, and Matt. (In a couple more years all the kids will be old enough to play too and we will have full teams!) Not that the score really matters, but I think my team got beat! I let the kids go play at the park before we headed off to lunch with Chris who had to work all morning. And then we spent the rest of the day swimming and BBQing at my mom's house. Fun times!!Sunday, May 24, 2009
Chloe's Birthday
Chloe started her birthday off with blueberry waffles and whip cream. We then got ready for church and she brought Hello Kitty cupcakes to share with her primary class. She was very excited about that!

After church we headed to my parents' for a joint birthday for Chloe and my dad. His birthday was yesterday, and he was out of town, so they got to celebrate together this year. As usual Chloe totally made out. Her favorite was her new sit'n'stand stroller and car seat. It even has a base to buckle into the car!
I am glad she got to celebrate her birthday with grandpa! It was extra special that he turned 50 when she turned 5! They had yummy bundt cakes and enjoyed licking all the frosting of their candles! Happy Birthday Dad and Chloe!!
