Monday we drove up to Provo. After a long day in the car we checked in to our hotel and then walked to the park so the kids could release all their energy. Mom and Dad met us there with pizza for dinner. It was such a nice night to hang out in the park. On our way back we stopped at Sammy's for some yummy cream pie shakes.

Day 2. Mom, Dad, Katie, and I woke up early to do a session at the Salt Lake Temple. I haven't been to Northern Utah in about 19 years so it was so fun and B-E-A-utiful! I loved being on temple square. Jenny and Grandma got all the kids up and ready and met us up there. We went to the different visitor centers. The kids LOVED it and didn't want to leave. We had lunch at the Navoo Cafe. It was delicious and then headed to Lagoon.
Mom and Dad took us all to Lagoon for a fun afternoon. The kids said it was the best day ever!

The dreaded day. The whole reason for making this fun trip up to Utah. We got ready and headed to IHOP for breakfast (Katie's request). It was so fun to pick out the other missionaries who were there too. Missionaries headed to the MTC get free breakfast! We didn't know that so that was cool! Jenny and Katie ran into the mall to get Katie a jacket and then we raced off to the MTC.
Hugs and good byes. Chloe and Cooper had the hardest time. Cooper wouldn't let go of Katie so they could go drop her off. Katie was strong. And then she was gone!
We LOVE you Katie and can't wait to see you in 18 months!
