Chloe's 9th birthday!!

Happy, happy birthday Chloe, dear!!

I can't believe you are nine years old already!

First thing in the morning after she sees her room.

 Chloe wanted new bed set for her birthday. She LOVES her some zebra right now so that is what we did. Last minute I decided to do a collage wall instead of the painted zebra wall that she originally wanted. (This will be a lot easier to change and Grandpa has been in China too much this year to be able to paint zebra stripes)

 We tried to keep things low key this year, but with this girl I don't think that is possible!

She had blueberry pancakes for her birthday breakfast, and then it was off to Kim Vo (where Jenny works) to get her zebra mani and pedi. Then her friends came over and we went to Steak and Shake for lunch with more friends and to the movies to see Epic.

 After having all her friends come play we were off to the park to have some Canes and little family party. 

Lucky enough for Chloe there was no school because of staff development day and she was able to party from the time she woke up until it was time for bed!

{Dance Spirit Week}

The week after the kids had spirit week at school Chloe and Aubrey had spirit week at dance.

 Monday was tutus and tiaras. 

Chloe helps out in Aubrey's class.

Tuesday was neon day. 

 And Thursday was crazy hair day for ballet!

Chris and the boys went up to Nelson's Landing for our ward's Father & Son camp out. 

They didn't get out of town as soon as Chris would have liked so they stopped and had Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner before heading out. They slept in the suburban because of snakes, had breakfast, shot guns, and headed back for Alex and Cooper's baseball game. I didn't give Chris specific orders to get a 'good' picture of him with the boys, just to take pictures. And pictures is what I got. Lesson learned.

And while the boys were away the girls did play! Katie came and picked us up and we went over to a high school to get us some Sno Monkey. The line was forever long, but it was worth the wait. The girls swam in the hot tub, and  we had some Cafe Rio for dinner. Fun night to be with just my girls!!

Superhero Day

I love the end of the school year when the kids have so many fun things going on. This week was spirit week. They only dressed up a couple of the days.

Superhero day is definitely something we like!!

Twin Day

The kids had "Twin Day" at school. 

Nick and Cooper dressed alike.

Chloe arranged for her and Annie to wear their matching dresses.

And one of the mom's from Alex's little group of friends went and got all the boys matching shirts to wear.

KAR Competition

Up and early on our way to the KAR Dance Competition.

It was nice to spend the day with my girl. And she did awesome! 

Grandma and Grandpa came to watch too. She loves when someone besides Mom comes to watch!

We had to be to Cashman Center at 7:30 am

She danced at 9am 

AND then we had to wait until awards at 1pm

It was a seriously long day. 

After we were FINALLY done we went and had lunch at Chipotle, did some Mother's Day shopping and then we were off to the track meet.

2013 Stake Track Meet

The Stake Track Meet was in the evening this year. 

We started off with the 5k. Chris opted out this year and Aubrey and Cooper stayed with him.. Alex scootered the whole way and was super fast. Nick and Chloe took turns with a scooter and I was glad I could run with them since I am so out of shape this year. Lauren and her girls were with us too and we were each other's motivation to keep going!

The little boys missed out on their races while they were waiting for their snow cones, but Nick came in first for his age group!! Aubrey was going to race for her age group, but got scared to death when the horn blew.

Such a fun night with all of our friends!!!
