Right after we got home from St. George I came down with a cold so I spent the day in bed reading this . 

I loved it and it was so neat that a friend of mine wrote it!

 Cooper stayed home sick on Tuesday. He looks pretty happy in this picture, but my usual full of energy Cooper didn't even leave the couch for a few days.

Cooper had to disguise his little turkey so he didn't get eaten for Thanksgiving dinner so he made a 'Hulk Smash' turkey.

Rascals Tournament {Turkey Trot}

 This last weekend we went up to St. George for Nick's baseball tournament. They played 2 games Friday and 2 games Saturday. It was totally freezing for all of the games, at some points it was even snowing. The Rascals did okay. The lost 2 and won 2, so they didn't end up playing in the finals, but after the last game on Saturday I was okay with not winning because that meant we didn't have to  freeze anymore. Nick ended up getting sick while we were gone too. He definitely didn't want to miss his game (he had to play or else they would forfeit), but you could tell he didn't feel good and his heart just wasn't in the game. 

Staying with the Holt's was the BONUS to our trip!! They are always so good to let us stay with them and take such good care of us.

365- Week 44

 Thank goodness Nick brought home his Scholastic news on Election 2012. I was talking with some friends and we weren't quite sure about the whole Electoral College so it was nice to re-learn with my 4th grader!

 Started off our day by going to vote. Sad Romney didn't win!

 When we pulled up to the baseball fields in Washington, UT for Nick's baseball tournament there was a beautiful rainbow across the sky.

 Grandma, Katie, and Grandpa Victor all drove up to watch Nick's baseball tournament. Those are some dedicated fans!

Halloween 2012

Last year we had so much fun trick or treating together that we decided to do it again this year.

So all my family, minus Dad because he is in China, came over for chili and cornbread, and Mom made yummy chocolate cupcakes.

We ate, and chatted, the kids ran around like animals, and when it was finally good and dark we headed out trick or treating.  Fun night!

I love Halloween! Fun holiday, but I always get a little stressed out when I am uploading my pictures the next day and the date says, "November 1st". I know Halloween is the last day of the month, but it is always the day after that it hits me. Thanksgiving is in a couple of weeks and then after that will Christmas and I always feel NOT ready! I guess I better buck up and get ready because everything is coming whether I am ready or not!

The kids could dress up like cowboys or pioneers for Nevada Day. Nick didn't want to wear his whole costume since he was being a cowboy, so we settled for a couple of hats and bandannas to go with our pumpkin shirts.

Loved turning my calendar to November and seeing this cute turkey. Alex made my calendar for Christmas last year. Kind of weird though that we are in November  This year has flown by. Kind of stressing out now too about all the upcoming stuff!

Alex had his last baseball game Friday night. He had a good season and I know he loved having Chris coach.
