365- Week 41

10/08/11
I don't think my week is complete without a picture of Aubs! She LOVES being in the backyard on the trampoline.

10/09/11
Chloe and Hailey after Hailey's baptism. I can't believe Chloe will be 8 in about 7 months!

10/10/11
Alex had to do a pumpkin book project for school. It was supposed to combine reading with creativity, so they had to make a character from a book out of a pumpkin. Alex had a hard time deciding which book to choose, but one night he just kept asking for snack after snack, and he would say, "But I am STILL hungry!". And then it just hit me that we had to do The Hungry Caterpillar. Alex loved the idea too and there was no changing his mind!

10/11/11
Chris came home from work in the middle of the day and brought me flowers for no reason.
Man, I love him!!

10/12/11
Chris and Nick at Open House for school.

10/13/11
Last week the parents got to go into class and watch a Halloween number that they have been working on in ballet. It was so cute! It was a spider song as they did their different positions.

10/14/11
Cooper loves to get the mail now and loves to look through the ads. Even if they are the grocery ones. He lets me know what we need from the store!

Katie turns 18!

Last night Jenny and I took Katie out to celebrate her 18th birthday!
First we went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory. To make it official we had them sing to her, which she loved! And they even wrote, "Happy Birthday Katie" on the plate of her red velvet cheesecake.
We got my mom's permission (my mom is convinced the tower is going to fall over!)and took Katie to the top of the Stratosphere to ride the Big Shot.
It has probably been about 10 years since I last rode it. It was a definite thrill!
We had tons of fun being crazy together. Doing sexy bird dances!
Happy Birthday Katie! I love you!

Crazy Hair Day

Last Friday was crazy hair day at school. My boys haven't had a hair cut since school started so that it would be long enough(this is as longs as I will let it get) can to have a mohawk.
So Jenny spent Thursday evening at our house cutting mohawks and braiding Chloe's crazy hair. I think they looked pretty cute!

{Witch's Party}

Las week my Bunco group had a Witch's Party. It was so much fun to see everyone dressed up and have a yummy dinner together!
Since Chloe had her witches costume from last year she really wanted to come eat dinner with us, and since she is the cutest little witch I know I had to let her!
{Sister Witches}

[Father & Son]

If I were to say that Chris was disappointed that our ward didn't have a Father and Son camp out this year that would be a major understatement. So as soon as work slowed down a little, a couple weeks ago, he took the boys camping with his dad and Robert. They went up to Panguitch Lake. Chris said it was a drive, but it was worth it. They rented a boat on Saturday and went fishing. I think that was the boys favorite part!
I am so glad that they can make special memories like these and I am very thankful they all came home in one piece!

365- Week 40

Week 40! Crazy! There are only 12 more weeks this year.

10/01/11
In between watching conference Nick and I went for a run. Last year we raced for speed and he whooped me. This year he wanted to go for distance and was determined that he could beat me again. Not so much! He was dying like 5 minutes in, but he is one stubborn boy and would not give up. About a mile and a half in he couldn't do it anymore and just lied down on the sidewalk. Luckily Chris was driving next to us for this very reason. He picked up Nick and took him home while I finished running.

10/02/11
Just my little zebra practicing trick or treating.

10/03/11
For the longest time I have made my kids sleep in their own beds on school nights, but I have found that they sleep better together. And I think that it is pretty cute that they like to sleep together, I know this won't last forever! This is Nick and Cooper sleeping in Nick's bed. It is a full, so really they didn't have to share Cooper's pillow!

10/04/11
It really is musical beds around here. This sis Chloe sleeping in Cooper's bed with him.

10/05/11
Chloe and I getting ready for our witch party.

10/06/11
No picture

10/07/11
I L.O.V.E. her!

A BIG scare

09/25/11

My mom was on her way home from Reno when her tire blew, she lost control and rolled her car.
No serious injuries for rolling 3 times, but 8 staples in her leg, some broken toes, bruised ribs, and smashed arm. And that makes for one sore mama!! Her accident happened more than 2 weeks ago and she is just barely now able to do a little. I feel so bad. I am so thankful that she is okay because I do not know what I would do without my mom!
