{Proud Mama}

05/16-05/17/15
This last weekend was pretty busy!
We had 7 baseball games and 1 soccer game.

 Alex had 3 games for the Knights.
 Nick had 4 games for the Rascals. And they ended up taking 1st place in their tournament.
 Chloe had her last soccer game of the season. She played goalie for the first time and did AWESOME!  They ended up doing a shoot out and WON first place for the championship!
 And then we had our stake track meet. Nick and I did the 5k together. He did great! Especially considering that he hasn't been running for a while. He ended up taking 2nd place for his age group.
 Next was the ward relay. Cooper, Alex and Chloe all ran part of the 12 person relay. Cooper started it out and came from behind to give our team a good start. He handed it off to Alex who gave our team even more cushion. Chloe did great too! And our team would have won but we had a fumble with the baton, but second isn't too bad either.
 Then there were the sprints for the different age groups. Alex and Cooper ran together for the 8-9 year olds. Alex came in first! He is pretty dang fast! Chloe did great in the 10-11 year old race. Aubrey's race wasn't too official since half of the kids took off before they even said go, but I am so proud of her for doing it! (And she might have won too, she is fast!)
I am proud of all my kids!! They tried things that put themselves outside their comfort zone and really pushed hard! They are all number 1 in my books!! It was a fun, and tiring weekend!!

Family Pictures {Turks & Caicos}

01.20.15

We weren't planning to have family pictures done while we were gone, but I am so glad we did!

Turks & Caicos

January 17-22, 2015
We went to the Beaches Resort in Turks and Caicos back in January as a family. Chris and I have been to some pretty cool places but it was so awesome to be together with the kids somewhere so awesome! It is an all inclusive resort so the kids LOVED being able to eat anything and everything they wanted! The resort was so family  friendly! There were bars in just about every pool and all throughout and even Aubrey learned quickly to walk right up and order herself a Pina Colada. My kids now know what a Miami Vice is (pina colada & strawberry daiquiri). I think our family drank our weight in drinks! There are 19 restaurants to eat from all day long! Minute walk to the beach, pools everywhere, tennis, basketball, a water park, Xbox lounge, kayaking, water trikes, snorkeling,  I could go on forever!  I am so glad we decided to make this a family trip because it was definitely memories we will never forget!!

It was definitely a sad day when we had to go back to reality.
Picture overload!
