365- Week 33

 Our last week of summer! We were super busy trying to get stuff done and ready to go back to school, but we still managed to squeeze in a couple of fun activities.

Chloe had a 3 week break from dance, so Monday was her first class for the new year. She has ballet on Mondays, competition classes on Tuesday, and Acro on Saturdays.

 The kids were outside eating lunch at Cafe Rio when a sudden down pour came on. Luckily the kids were finishing up and they had fun playing in the rain!

 68 degrees in August in Las Vegas at 4 o'clock in the afternoon doesn't happen too often so I had to document it!

 On our way to have lunch with Amber, Mavrik, and Makaylin. Aubrey was excited!

For Alex's birthday we went skating at Crystal Palace and then to get a treat at Sno Monkey.

Mt. Charleston Trip

We squeezed our annual mountain trip in just before back-to-school. 

The weather was beautiful! Almost a full 30 degree difference, so nice!

 The kids climbed and played. 

My boys wanted to give me a heart attack!

I had to turn my back to them  because I couldn't watch. 

Cooper has NO FEAR and that is pretty dang scary.

I am very grateful that we had a safe trip!

 After we had enough of the mountains we stopped on the way home for lunch at Cafe Rio.

Flashback Friday

March 2006

In honor of back-to-school week I thought I would do a flash back of when school all started for our family. We were sad when Jeremy and Juli moved to Florida, but with Ben being gone Nick was able to take his place as a typical peer in Ms. Bonnie's class. We started the half day schedule 6 years ago and it is still going for us!

Visiting Grandpa Victor for the 1st time since he got out of the hospital. It had been almost 2 months since the kids had seen him.

We were all outside talking to our neighbors when all of a sudden it was pouring. Total craziness!!

We were out running errands trying to get some back-to-school shopping done and we stopped at Burger King for lunch.

Flashback Friday

September 2010

 Where did my baby go??!!

All of a sudden it feels like my baby is all grown up. She has changed a lot lately. She is getting taller and her body no longer looks like a baby, but a big girl now.

For the longest time Aubrey has been saying "NO" for everything even when she means yes.

But yesterday she woke up saying "yeah!" . I LOVE it! So when you ask her a question you don't have to guess what she really means!

This girl is definitely her own person. She may be cute, but she comes with BIG attitude!

For forever the kids have been spelling G-U-M so that they could ask for some without Aubrey knowing, but she caught on and now when she asks for gum she says, "have G-U-M?".

Flashback Friday

March 1, 2007

Yesterday my good friend was in the hospital having her fourth baby 

and it made remember when I had my little Cooper.

I loved/hated being alone all night at the hospital with my new baby. 

A couple of times Cooper choked/spit up and scared me. 

I remember pushing my nurses button and feeling like a 'first time mom'.

I thought Cooper was going to be my last baby.

He is my baby boy and still reminds me of that all the time.

"Field Trip Monday"

Because of scheduling at Krispy Kreme we had to push our field trip to a Monday this last week.

The kids were good with that since we had a 'Fun Friday' instead!

We learned a little about how donuts are made.

And then we got to have a taste with donuts and milk for everyone. 

Nice morning with friends and then home for naps!
