Pumpkin Patch

Seven years ago some dear friends invited us to the pumpkin patch with their family for F.H.E. and ever since then it has become part of our family tradition.

Trunk-or-Treat

This last Monday was our ward Trunk-or-Treat. It was a little chaotic trying to keep track of four little ones running around, but as always, the kids had a blast. Not only did they get lots of treats, but they got to be with their friends. They want me to have everyone go trick-or-treating with us on Friday!! Chris borrowed the work mascot and dressed as a hippo. My kids loved it! They ran around telling everyone that that was their dad!

Another 5K

After we did the 5K at the beginning of the month Chris was looking for another opportunity to beat me! So when my friend, Deanna asked me to do this one Chris jumped in too. Deanna organized a team, we were "The Fast and Furious", and she even gave us individual names on the back of our shirts; I was Lightening! I was very proud of myself for being able to run the whole race without walking once. This may not sound like a big deal, but it was for me. AND I beat all my treadmill times, so that was a plus too! I won't brag too much, but I did beat Chris this time! I was the tortoise and he was the hare! The little festival after the race was fun too! Chris and I took on the Zitzman's in a little competition to hit the little thing with the big hammer to try and make it ding. (You know what I am talking about!!) And we won! My studly husband made the bell ding!! Go Chris!!
Thanks Deanna for setting this all up for us! We had a great time!

McKee Ranch

For the preschool class that Alex and Chloe are both in they have a "Parent Involvement Activity" once a month. For October we got to go to the McKee Ranch. As always, the kids had a blast. They got to ride a pony, feed the animals, and run around and get dirty!! The kids had their cousins there too which made it even more special. To top things off we got to pick a pumpkin to take home. What a fun night!!

Halloween Dance

This last week the young men and young women had a costume dance. I talked Chris into going with me, so we dressed up together. Captan Hook and Tinkerbell. Even though I can't and won't dance, it was a lot of fun. The Mill's D.J.'d it and the kids had a blast!

Fall

I love this time of year! The weather is beautiful outside. Our dad is home more often. We get to do all our FUN family traditions. First we have Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and before you know it, it is going to be Christmas! This is the time of the year that races by for me. I guess they say, "Time flies when you are having fun".
