FTF- Reunion Trails Park

08.03.12

I heard about this new park a couple months ago, so we finally decided to go check it out.
Definitely a fun one!  I loved how different it was and I loved the splash pad. Aubrey wasn't feeling too good, so she was super grumpy. We will have to do that park again.

365- Week 30

07/29/12
Alex was reading Green Eggs and Ham and Aubrey went upstairs got a book, came back down, sat next to Alex and then would repeat everything he said. It was really cute!

07/30/12
Feeling the serious need to do some deep cleaning and organizing. Chloe's room was first. I was pretty impressed with her willingness to get rid of so much.

07/31/12
End of Summer reading celebration at the library.

08/01/12
All the girls went to lunch at Cheesecake Factory for Juli's birthday and then we did a little shopping. It was a lot of fun!!

08/02/12
Date night. We went to eat at Lucille's.

08/03/12
Nick, Chloe, and Reagan watching the Olympics.

08/04/12
Chris right after he jumped in the river.

[Family Time]

07.28.12
Chris had a networking family picnic to  go to. The kids had a complete blast!
Pizza, nachos, hot dogs, and snow cones for dinner with swimming and water guns.
Alex said it was the best day ever! And it was good for Chris and I too since everything was FREE.
LOVE fun, free family time!!!

{Showcase 2012}

 07.28.12
Chloe had her dance recital a couple Saturdays ago. It has been what she has been working so hard for for months. She did her two numbers that she has been doing for competition and this is where she finally got to perform her ballet number. It was her favorite costume and her favorite dance. They danced to "What a Wonderful World". It made me tear up, you could absolutely tell that ballet is her favorite.
She had a real smile plastered on her face the entire dance.
Chloe with Miss Michelle, her competition teacher.
Chloe with Miss Erica, her ballet teacher.
Chloe with Miss Jennifer, her technique teacher.

After the recital everyone that came to watch Chloe dance went to Olive Garden where Grandma Kaye treated us all to lunch.

[Toothless]

I have always LOVED Alex's grin.
I am not going to lie, I am not really a fan of my kids losing teeth.
They look funny and I would really prefer them not to grow up!
 07.25.12
Alex's top teeth were lose, one way more than the other, it was barely hanging on.
It was driving me crazy. I told Alex to pull it out or I was going to.
After messing with it in the bathroom for a bit he decided he would let Nick pull it out.
It was pretty funny watching Nick straddle him and all the other kids hovering around watching.
One down, but now it looks worse! He has a gap from a growing mouth, so it looks like he just has 1 tooth in the middle. So that was driving me crazy too! He was looking pretty red neck.
07.27.12
So...when we were leaving the M after FTF I convinced Alex to pull out his own tooth. I actually bribed him. And he did it and was so proud of himself.
That is 2 down, but still looking CRAZY because he was born with an extra baby tooth on the top.
That one wasn't really loose so I decide I will leave my cute boy alone for a while!

08.03.12
But while we were in St. George for the weekend the boys were rough housing and Nick accidentally knocked Alex's bonus tooth (as we like to call it) out. Poor guy. It bled pretty good and he got a fat lip too.
But 3 teeth gone in 9 days! I LOVE his toothless grin, but it won't be that way for long because both top teeth are on there way in!

Flashback Friday

Alex (19 mos.)
That smile reminds me a lot of Aubrey Ann.
Man I miss that little Panda Man! Why do they have to get big??!!
